 Matthew D. Minkin joins the firm of RS Garek Associates as a sales and leasing agent, with a strong and unique blend of experience including almost seven years in the not-for-profit arena, after seven years in the retail apparel business.
In his nearly 7 years working for Wexner Heritage Village (WHV), a $20+ million, not-for-profit provider, Matt quickly rose from his initial responsibilities as Director of Marketing, to taking on Public Relations, Legislative Advocacy and Fund Development, landing him the position of Vice President Development & Public Information. In his Fund Development work, Matt managed over 1200 private and corporate donors. As a member of the Executive Team, Matt was a key cog in making decisions to steer the path of the organization including the development of its long-term strategic plan.
Prior to his time at Wexner Heritage Village, Matt worked in the off-price retail arena at Value City Department Stores (now Retail Ventures). Matt utilized his business sense, work ethic and relationship building skills to rise to the buyer level in areas as vast as women’s accessories, young men’s fashions and women’s petites.
Matt’s focus at RS Garek Associates will be in tenant and landlord representation, in the sale and/or leasing of office, industrial and commercial properties.
Matt resides in Bexley with his wife, Rebecca and their two children, Isabella and Nicholas.
